Saffron by Mishal was founded in November 2022 with a simple vision—to preserve the beauty of traditional handmade embroidery while creating clothing that tells a story.

I am Mishal, a Textile Designer with a deep appreciation for Pakistan’s rich textile heritage. My passion has always been to transform traditional craftsmanship into timeless pieces that celebrate artistry, culture, and individuality.

What began as a small dream while raising my two children has grown into a handmade clothing label built on creativity, resilience, and purpose.

Today, Saffron by Mishal proudly collaborates with a community of skilled women artisans from rural South Punjab. Every outfit is handcrafted using traditional techniques including Tarkashi, Chikankari, Kacha Tanka, Aari Work, Gotta Work, and Mirror Work. Each stitch reflects generations of craftsmanship passed down through skilled hands.

Our artisans work from their homes while balancing family responsibilities and caring for their children. By working together, we are not only preserving traditional embroidery but also creating meaningful opportunities for women to contribute to their households through their exceptional skills.

Because every piece is handmade, no two outfits are ever exactly alike. Each design requires hours—and often days—of careful embroidery before it reaches our studio for finishing and quality inspection. Occasionally, this handcrafted process may require a little extra time, but we believe true craftsmanship cannot be rushed.

At Saffron by Mishal, we don’t believe in mass production. We create limited collections and made-to-order pieces so every customer receives an outfit crafted with care, precision, and attention to detail.
